Introductory Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercise (TRE®) Class – 3-Part Series
July 7, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm$110
TRE® exercises evoke a Self-Induced Therapeutic Tremor (SITT) in the body which discharges stress or tension accumulated from difficult situations, immediate or prolonged stressful situations, and/or traumatic life experiences (i.e., natural disasters, social or domestic violence) or every day circumstances (i.e., school exams, job stress, financial concerns, etc.).
TRE® is being used by thousands of people around the world as an effective tool for releasing everyday stress and anxiety, physical/muscular tension, and the reduction of psycho-emotional stress.
Ongoing research into TRE is showing that it takes 6-10 weeks of supervised TRE for longterm positive change. A single class and sporatic practice may help you feel relaxed and calm, but we find people are just not accessing the level of healing that TRE® has to offer. So we are pleased to offer the 3-part series to help you get your practice going, familiarize you with self regulation skills, and assist with the movement of the tremors through the body.
The exercises work for all body types and are easily adaptable for any fitness level or mobility challenge. We will be doing light exercise – wear comfortable loose clothing.
Pre-registration required – class size limited. Not suitable for pregnant women or recent surgeries.
Registration includes TRE training materials.
Tue, July 7th 6-8:30pm – Tue, July 14th 6-7:30pm – Wed July 22nd 6-7:30pm. Once you have taken this 3-part series, you will feel comfortable with TRE® and be able to practice it independently, at your convenience.
